Healthy Menstruation Tea Blends
It’s a fact of life, that every woman between the ages of 13 and 51, give or take a few years, has to endure menstruation every month.
Most women breeze through this time with little problems. But, like me, there are women who are not that lucky. I’m almost 53, and according to my gynecologist, I’m a little overdue to ending menstruation. Just my luck!
In the past five years, my periods tend to be heavy and more cramping than normal. My physician assures me that this is normal and everything is okay, but being an herbalist, I created several tea blends that have helped me and other women with their different issues.
These blends are in no way a replacement for your physician’s care.

Irregular Periods
Amenorrhea, the medical term for the loss of periods in women who should be having regular periods, is a sign that something in the body has gone wrong.
Sometimes overlooked for more “flashy” herbs in this current day, mugwort is still a favorite of wise women. Mugwort has an affinity for the female reproductive system and is used as a uterine stimulant that can bring on delayed menstruation and help restore a woman’s natural monthly cycle.
