Corporate Controller, Wakefield

Reporting to the EVP of Finance, the Corporate Controller will be primarily responsible for the financial consolidation process of Curaleaf, driving the corporate close calendar, reviewing reconciliations for consistency and accuracy and working to implement standard processes and policies across all the states in which we operate, budget and forecasts preparation. Must be extremely hands-on self-starter who is able to work independently. The position is based in the corporate office in Wakefield, MA.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Ownership of the corporate close calendar
* Manage all accounting operations for the business
* Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statement
* Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls
* Oversee inventory stocking levels that balance having an uninterrupted supply to support sales while minimizing inventory carrying costs
* Responsible for analytics at month-end and quarter-end (P&L and balance sheet flux analysis, operating segment flux analysis, currency and CTA reasonableness/monitoring)
* Responsible for driving consistency and transparency in internal financial reporting amongst all legal entities
* Working closely with local controllers and finance/accounting teams to educate, implement and ensure compliance with global process and policies
* Coordination with Tax & Treasury and the Technical Accounting Team on various initiatives such as determining new legal entities, determining appropriate designation of inter-company balances
* Ad-hoc technical accounting research of US GAAP-related issues
* Other duties as required

* BS in Finance or Accounting, CPA required
* 7-10 year’s work experience
* Manufacturing background preferred
* Experience in public accounting firm or at a global multi-national public company in a similar role
* Strong understanding of US GAAP
* Knowledge of/ experience with global ERP and consolidation software systems (Oracle/Management Reporting)
