Office Manager/HR Assistant, Wakefield

We are looking for an Office Manager/HR Assistant to support our Corporate office in Wakefield, MA. You willmaintain Curaleaf’s office services by organizing officeoperations and procedures; welcoming guests to our offices, assisting with interviews scheduling and candidate interactions,  designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions, luncheons, coordination of additional activities as needed, along with daily assistance with FedEx, UPS and USPS mailings. Ultimately, the Office manager should be able to ensure the smooth running of the office and help to improve Curaleaf’s procedures and day-to-day operation.


  • Organizing meetings and managing databases
  • Booking some travel (as needed) and accommodations
  • Organizing company events or conferences
  • Ordering stationery and furniture
  • Maintain conference rooms and kitchens, stock with supplies
  • Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative systems
  • Using a range of software packages (email tools, spreadsheets and databases)
  • Assisting the Human Resources department with coordinating interview schedules and phone screens, input employee data, interact with candidates coming for in person interviews
  • Answering the main phone line and directing calls
  • Preparing FedEx and UPS packages and checking the mail
  • Managing printers


  • Experience as an office manager or administrative assistant
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good at creative problem solving
