President, Los Angeles

We are looking for a President of our California business,  to provide day to day leadership and management to the vertically integrated organization.  The president should have 8-10+ years of progressive experience in leadership roles, including, finance & P&L ownership; presiding over the workforce, manage budgets and resources properly.  The president will make sure departments meet their individual goals and are responsible for overall accountability to shareholders and the general public. They will encourage business investment from the community and act as the public face of Curaleaf. In addition, this person must have an entrepreneurial mindset and adapt quickly to changes in the marketplace. Proven expertise as an executive (ideally in CPG or Food/ Beverage) with experience implementing business strategies, plans, and procedures and ability to drive revenue.


  • Financial knowledge; budgets, payroll tax, capital expense, month/quarter/year end financials
  • Acts as the face of Curaleaf when dealing with state and local governments as well as within the local communities
  • Execute the financial strategy of the company
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire people to action through their influence
  • Drive operational performance via key metrics and key performance indicators
  • Building, developing of high-performing teams at all levels of the organization
  • Drive revenue and EBITDA growth, margin expansion, and operational effectiveness
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, oversight, management and vision to all departments
  • Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives
  • Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes in all departments
  • Remains up to date on cannabis legislation
  • Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner
  • Builds a solid network in the cannabis industry through attending networking events and educational events


  • 8-10 years proven leadership experience managing retail, warehouse, manufacturing and distribution in a highly regulated industry (ideally CPG, Food / Beverage)
  • Appropriate education (BA / BS – Business or related) to be successful at executive level
  • Experience as a President/COO/CFO in a company, which experienced rapid growth in a highly regulated market
  • Must have experience leading, overseeing and managing a variety of department managers within one organization
  • Must have experience managing financial controls and accounting procedures
  • Highly motivated and detail oriented, strategic thinker and planner
  • Able to pass comprehensive background and credit check


  • Previously led or been a part of leading successful startups (a must)
  • Previous experience building and cultivating a high-performing management team to help execute the company’s vision
  • A proven ability to leverage technology and systems to drive operational improvements and profitability
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Outstanding organizational, leadership abilities and employee development skills
