Flower QA Technician, Midway
Summary/Objective
Responsibilities:
Maintains quality standards by approving incoming flower batches, in-process production flower, and finished flower products; recording quality results in appropriate database.
Quality Flower Inspector Job Duties:
Approves incoming flower batches by confirming specifications; conducting visual and physical verifications for quality assurance.
Approves in-process production flower batches by confirming testing specifications; conducting visual inspections of testing results from third party labs; communicating and logging flower testing information to production supervisor(s).
Documents testing results by completing reports and logs; summarizing passing/failing results and flower waste; inputting data into company database(s).
Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; re-calibration
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Ability to Lift/Carry up to 40 lbs on a Daily Basis
Transporting Flower Between Facilities
Possess Knowledge of the Process for the Cannabis plant; Drying, Curing, trimming; to be able to prevent potential issues
Must be able to handle organic plant material daily
Ensuring the work area(s) are kept clean on a daily basis
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Other Requirements
Must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)

Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 60 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
