Lease Administrator, Tempe

The Lease Administrator will be responsible for digitally filing, tracking, and maintaining all Harvest lease obligations using Visual Lease and Wrike project management system..

A successful Lease Administrator will demonstrate a strong attention to detail along with the ability to interface with other departments involved in maintaining our lease obligations. You should also be familiar with accounting software and tracking monthly payment schedules for a large volume of leases.. Our ideal candidate has previous experience managing leases and is familiar with legal language surrounding real estate contracts.

Ultimately, you will manage our obligations under each lease and help meet company goals.

Duties:

Manage the inputting of real estate lease data and lease obligations into lease administration software
Create and complete tasks related to leasing properties in Wrike project management system
Monitor compliance of the terms within each lease
Communicate pertinent contract details and requirements with applicable Harvest departments (particularly accounting, facilities, construction, and operations)
Prepare monthly payment schedules for the accounts payable team using software platforms
Gather utility service details and insurance information for leased properties
Interact with landlords and tenants regarding lease obligations
Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms
Ensure all deadlines and conditions described in leases are met (e.g. rent payments, extension notices, and annual rent escalators)
Gather annual operating expenses and reconcile/update additional rents paid to landlords
Contribute to development of lease documentation and internal real estate department processes

QUALIFICATIONS *

Proven work experience as a Lease Administrator, Lease Manager or relevant role
Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts
Familiarity with accounting procedures
Excellent writing skills
Keen attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners
Detail oriented with an eye on process optimization
Excellent time management and organization skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to manage high stress situations, and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it
Determination and success attitude that emulates fortitude, not taking no for an answer, and finding a way to accomplish what is necessary
Excellent communication skills both verbally and through written media
Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds if relevant to job duties listed above
Throughout extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the work day. Must be capable of working in front of a computer for extended periods of time based on job duties listed above
At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US

EDUCATION *

Bachelor’s Degree in general business administration Preferred; additional qualifications in law are a plus
Minimum High School or G.E.D equivalent is required.
