After writing her book, she felt overwhelmed and exhausted by the pressure to post and promote it.Were so hooked to our devices that our whole sense of accomplishment and the need to put it on Instagram become a vicious cycle, she says. You see that your friends are doing it and then you have to keep up.Its all part of the distorted reality that is social media, where constant comparison breeds a whole new level of competition.
